Игроки, которые уже провели около 30 часов, исследуя все уголки Resident Evil Requiem, и жаждут новых впечатлений, будут рады услышать позитивные новости. Компания Capcom готовит ряд грядущих обновлений. Самым значительным из них является сюжетное дополнение, которое в настоящее время находится в разработке. Однако не стоит ожидать его скорого выхода.
Игровой директор Коши Наканиси в коротком видеообращении заявил: "В этой истории мы глубже погрузимся в мир Requiem. Мы усердно работаем над ним прямо сейчас. Это займет некоторое время, поэтому мы просим вашего терпения и надеемся, что вы будете с нетерпением ждать".
Наканиси также отметил, что помимо сюжетного дополнения, команда разработчиков работает над исправлением ошибок и улучшением производительности, а также готовит другие новые функции. В игре появится фоторежим, который позволит игрокам запечатлеть все ужасы, с которыми сталкиваются Грейс и Леон. Кроме того, по словам Наканиси, "около мая" ожидается "сюрприз" — планируется добавить мини-игру.
Resident Evil Requiem разошлась тиражом более 5 миллионов копий в течение первой недели после релиза. Отзывы в целом были положительными, хотя одно сомнительное, вероятно, сгенерированное ИИ и ненадолго появившееся на Metacritic, можно смело игнорировать.
