Nintendo анонсировала, что её следующая платформенная приключенческая игра, «Yoshi и Таинственная Книга» (Yoshi and the Mysterious Book), будет выпущена для Switch 2 21 мая. Эта дата выхода была объявлена в рамках ежегодного празднования «Mar10 Day» — вымышленного праздника, названного так из-за визуального сходства даты «10 марта» со словом «Mario».
Кроме того, был выпущен новый трейлер последнего приключения вечно голодного динозавра. Игра выглядит очаровательно и напоминает ожившую детскую книжку с картинками. Игры про Yoshi традиционно отличаются уникальным графическим стилем; в прошлых частях миры были созданы из пряжи, картона и других материалов. Даже самый первый платформер с Yoshi, «Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island», имел своего рода нарисованную от руки эстетику.
Геймплей, судя по всему, будет несколько уникальным, с уменьшенным акцентом на метание яиц. Многие существа в игре наделяют Yoshi особыми способностями, когда запрыгивают на динозавра, чтобы прокатиться. Это напоминает другого прожорливого персонажа Nintendo – Кирби.
