Amazon добился временного запрета на использование ИИ-бота Perplexity Comet для покупок
Amazon одержал временную победу в судебном разбирательстве с компанией Perplexity касательно применения ботов на основе искусственного интеллекта для совершения покупок. Федеральный суд Сан-Франциско постановил, что Perplexity должна временно прекратить использование ИИ-агента своего веб-браузера Comet для выполнения покупок от имени пользователей на торговой площадке Amazon.
У ИИ-компании есть одна неделя на подачу апелляции на это решение. В противном случае, ей будет предписано прекратить доступ к любым защищенным паролем разделам систем Amazon и уничтожить все имеющиеся копии данных Amazon, пока обе компании продолжают оспаривать свои позиции в суде.
Окружной судья Максин Чесни, вынося временный запрет, заявила: "Amazon предоставила убедительные доказательства того, что Perplexity, через свой браузер Comet, получает доступ к защищенной паролем учетной записи пользователя Amazon с разрешения пользователя, но без авторизации со стороны Amazon".
Представитель Amazon прокомментировал ситуацию, отметив: "Предварительный судебный запрет предотвратит несанкционированный доступ Perplexity к магазину Amazon и является важным шагом в поддержании доверительного опыта покупок для клиентов Amazon".
Напомним, Amazon еще в ноябре направил Perplexity письмо с требованием прекратить использование ИИ-ботов для покупок, утверждая, что применение агента Comet для совершения покупок нарушает их условия обслуживания.
В ответ на решение суда представитель Perplexity заявил: "Perplexity продолжит бороться за право интернет-пользователей выбирать любой искусственный интеллект, который они хотят".
