Traditionally, electronic components found in devices such as smartphones, automobiles, or even space satellites are designed to operate only up to a specific critical temperature. Beyond approximately 200 degrees Celsius, conventional silicon-based circuits typically cease to function. For many decades, this temperature threshold has been considered an almost insurmountable challenge in the field of electronics. However, engineers from the University of Southern California now appear to have discovered a novel method to bypass this significant limitation.
