Copy and paste the contents of the "Mod" folder to the Shadow of Chernobyl folder.
Works with the Steam version of the game.
About:
The very first winter themed modification for Shadow of Chernobyl, released way back in 2008. The story and quests aren't changed but the game received a winter makeover. I didn't alter the original mod beside translating the credits and adding a fix to a consistent X-18 crash.
Features:
- Every location, trees, grass and plants are covered in snow.
- It now commonly snows in the Zone.
- Stalker have winter attire on.
- Some mutant textures have been replaced.
- Instead of a bolt, there's a surprise.
- New footstep noises.
- New HUD.
