Hey, the camera would be better more on top instead overlooking into distance.
Also On map Adralast you are unable to buy camps/outposts as you pay for it and instead building pillar it reverts back to crossed flags.
Only on that map or in general? If this bug is general then patch the game to 1.03/1.06 first. We will try to fix it ASAP.
Tried different maps with different factions and happens too. It was clean install, will try to use patches and reinstall 2.22 after that.

Applying patch 1.03 then 2.22 solves the issue.

Do you mean install? If its is the windows Smart defender or something, then just clik on more info and start. We will try to fix it.

Curious, the install path, does it need to be in the BFME game directory? Or can I install it on a separate drive?
Files from patch must be in the same directory, patchswither not.

In evil campaign on map Old Brown Lands you can't get Destroy all the Goblins that lurk in this region bonus.

Hello guys, my problem is that i can't start any skirmish since i installed the new version. I can play saved games but as soon as i press the skirmish button, the game crashes. Is there a fix you know?

I dont know if 2.22 is compatible with southron edition or shadow and flame. At least for now i dont think so

After I download new version of this patch (2.22 2.0) I can't play on 1.06 online because when I swicth back to 1.06 game see new graphic and it's out of sync even if I changed to older version, any idea how to fix it?
🔴HOW TO REMOVE NEW TEXTURES 2.22v2.0:
1. In the Windows Explorer app. Search for the:
C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\The Battle for Middle-earth (tm)
2. Remove file: _patch222optional.big
We will add this option in the new version of our patchswitcher.
🔴Right now BFME is be bugged after switching from 2.22 to 1.06/1.03, to solve this you need to patch the game to 1.06 again. Sorry for the inconvenience.

my BFME is in Italian, I have already downloaded and installed patch 1.03, to install this mod do I have to do anything else first?
This patch is standalone but i dont know if it will work with other languages, also we are working on a new launcher.

This issue should be fixed with the new version. To fix it you need to download our asset.dat file from Discord.

Hi there
the patches are amazing, even the textures - I can't remember they have been so nice when I had played it nearly 20 years ago... are they modified in any way like the "HD Edition" mod does?
Is there any need to install or way to combine both mods to play?
I read at youtube about to combine both by installing them in these sequence:
1. install patch 2.22
2. install patch 1.06
3. install HD Edition
4. install patch 2.22 again
Before I try and might destroy my running setup (2.22 only, no futher patches), may this really work?

Our new launcher includes patch 1.06 already so everything should work just fine. You can always create backup folder before installing anything
Where can i change the resolution? with the %appdata% option files it didn't work
There should be an icon below LAUNCH button, just change resolution there and dont toggle it to window mode if you dont want to.
no such icon, neither for resolution nor toggle window mode. The download buttons for gameranger and T3a are both directly in front / on top of the launch bottom, since that doesn't seem like that's intended mabye there a bug? Wrong version or did i install it wrongly?

What do the green icons mean on each patch? I do have the icon to change the screen resolution just to add.
It means this patch is enabled. You can click on it to disable it. Optional files are just textures and you can toggle them.
