This is going the same way of Ray of Hope, where players just wanted to play in coop but they kept "working" on basically any other unrelated sh*** like animations, textures, UI etc... And in the end it went nowhere
The project is not designed as a cooperative mode (However, we do have some progress in the "co-op game" which will be released as a standalone client or as a separate mode once we have a stable engine and client-server event processing system in place, which will enable us to implement). The main goal was to create a simple multiplayer experience that residue the core gameplay elements of a single-player game. We have developed a base game and are adding additional features for different modes that would be activated or deactivated depending on the specific needs of each mode.
Now our goal is to develop an "Open world" with the introduction of new activities and improved locations for a large number of players. Also, all forces are thrown at improving the technical condition of the game - fixing bugs, crashes and other obscenities that should not spoil the game experience.
What is a co-op to you? Independent missions in L4D style, or passing through the plot of the original game? In any case, we had progress in both this and this area. Regarding the modification: Different people are involved in the interface, game, and engine. Our team consists of 3 main developers, and 2 mappers (Total: 5 people), RoH has more than 100 people. Everyone is busy with their own tasks, and occasionally we exchange tasks. This means that interface development does not in any way slow down work on the game engine, or, for example, work on locations. During the entire development period, we almost never used third-party assets; everything presented was made using the original resources of the STALKER game, and several third-party modifications (for example, Guslinger and CGIM). Unfortunately, the co-op in the format in which we want to do it will take up too much of our already missing time. The modification is done in your free time from study/everyday life/and work. We strive to release the modification as quickly as possible, because we understand that players are really looking forward to it. We ourselves do not like long development, it’s just that at the moment the modification is not ready for public release. Just trust me. As soon as the modification is ready, we will let you know immediately.

any updates on the mod?
This mod doesn't work. Made an account, tried to launch via ip and typed it in and it just doesn't work. Keeps saying, lost connection or couldn't connect
Mod in development. We have stopped supporting older versions and do not bear any responsibility for them.
The approximate start date of OBT (One of the gamemodes) is 2024. Wait and follow the news.

Is there some wiki/documentaion for this? What this mod does what it cannot do etc?
This is a multiplayer project without the possibility of creating custom servers (Later we will add the possibility of creating custom servers - we have ideas on how to implement their creation). Transitions between locations are implemented, as well as saving the progress of the character and the Gunslinger weapon pack is completely transferred to the source code
At the moment, the project is under development and is soon approaching the first alpha tests with players
Thanks man.
