One of my fav devs ever. all your games are great
(buried)
realy love IDs but Valve is mutch better
It's sad to see John Carmack go.. but atleast he's working on the Occulus Rift so it ain't all bad.
The man is heavily into his rocket propulsion development, he operates on a different level than regular mortals. Anybody can get that Occulus Rift thing going, it's him. Personally, I can't see myself strapping something like that to my head. My 28" flat screen suits me.
Why the newer ID/Raven Software games didn't got so much community love and support as Doom and Quake 1-2? Just there so many amazing things for the old titles... and almost nothing for RTCW, Q4, Doom 3. (but yes, really... Wolfenstein 2009 and RAGE are utter crap)
The indefatigable,Id.We all love you.
