Battlefield 1942 RTX Remix
Additional installation instructions:
- Get the game: Battlefield 1942 - The Complete Collection (Windows 10 Compatible)
- Search for Turn Windows features on or off. Under Legacy Components, enable DirectPlay
- Install the latest builds of remix.
- Extract dxwrapper files, rename both dxwrapper.dll and dxwrapper.ini to d3d8
- Open up dxwrapper.ini, set D3d8to9 to 1 and FullscreenWindowMode to 1 under the [d3d9] section
- Open up \Mods\bf1942\Settings\VideoDefault.con in a text editor and set the value of renderer.setFullScreen to 0
- Create a shortcut of **BF1942.exe** and head into properties. Add the +restart 1 parameter into the target box. It should look like this: "blah blah\BF1942.exe" +restart 1
- Launch the game, select `Ignore` on error prompts.
- Set all video settings except textures to low.
- Set Remix Menu -> Developer Settings -> Game Setup -> Sky Parameters -> Enable Auto-Detect to By Camera Position and Depth Flags.

- Crash upon unloading a map
- Player models lack normals and have broken UVs
- Terrain is made of giant chunks, good luck remastering them
- Culling
- Non-opaque props
- Broken Motion Vectors
