Such a Realistic mod that i've been waiting for 10 months!
BEST expirience of SWAT 4 i EVER HAD in my whole life. So many weapons, skins and maps - you can RP or just play. God tier expirience.

The best mod!
All units are realistic!
The Great dev team!
yo why is bro so H U G E
Dude that is an insanely dangerous shooting range setup. Like this guy is doing jumping jacks 5 feet away from the bullet path.
So I think the armory glitched. I wasn't able to get any weapons so I started the mission empty-handed. I know that's classic stuff for most Half-Life mods, but not if you're sending me through bootcamp first and dropping me off in an Osprey. Unarmed? Really? I had to scavenge a pistol from a security guard. Sheesh.
Scripting is good, but the timing is off. If you had just waited another 4-5 seconds before starting the "Who is this Freeman guy?" convo, it would've been perfect. Felt forced and blurty, plus the ending didn't even sync up with the elevator.
I am so unprepared for this! What kind of soldier enters an active warzone without any weapons?!
The plot just isn't doing it for me. Way too much exposition. Walls of text. Makes this feel like a fetch quest. And the way those black ops thank me by immediately sprinting back to the safety of their little hidey hole.
Combat was basically non-existent since it was advantageous to just let your squad do all the work because you HAVE NO AMMO.
Didn't even get to see the Osprey pick me up? It's very short, but still somehow feels rushed. Like the author had much grander plans for a longer story mod and just kinda gave up after the intro. Spent more time in boot camp than the actual mission.
Bootleg Squadrog kept my attention, but that's about all it did. Starting to wonder if it's bugged from the 25th anniversary update or possibly steampipe back in the day. Or maybe it's just buggy.
Simply just amazing.
It's simply great. The mod team in still working on a last grand mod that unites the first and late campaigns. If they achieve that, it will be for sure the greatest mod for the game imho.
This mod takes the hard work and content from the DNFRP mod and packages it with some lazy and poorly made "new maps". The fact ModDB lets this stay up is truly disappointing.

TOP MOD
The mod description does not include links or mention where the assets came from; they may be stolen assets.
Most off putting thing about this is how some of those female rebel and female citizen models wear make up, like how do they even have time for that. but I guess the point was to turn it into a somewhat different experience? it doesn't fit Half-Life 2's setting. other than that I really like most of the other changes especially the map changes, some of the other character models look fine actually, especially the new metrocop and barney models.
Excellent mod. High quality textures are fitting and amazing, especially the new effects. Only issue it is the new difficulty, some enemies have stupidly high health, and tesla gun, flamethrower, panzerfaust needs damage buff. I recommend you to check this mod but if you are gonna play it, use knightmare patch 1.42 because of its new 48 hz audio support, but rtcw adds and autoexec confing that makes the audio quality set to 22 hz whenever you open the game. Make sure to delete that line in the file.
Even though story isn't available this is great route to Abduction.
cool
An absolutely stunning mod that takes the Half Life DNA and squeezes out generous helpings of that delicious immersion and exploration that underpins why we love this formula so much. On a par with work delivered by Valve.
On my 3rd level on Standard Difficulty, I figured this game was too hard for my old bones. But once I switched to Novice, I actually started to have fun; the game still requires some hard moves, but now there are so many checkpoints, you feel you are facing only one challenge at a time. I was still missing too many tricky double jumps, but a little persistence got me to "The End?".
Thing is, the game has directional controls, a "jump" button and an "action" button -- that's it. The action button may attack, or dash, or dash-attack, or kick to the side, or kick upwards, or kick-flip a switch, all depending on how long you hold the button AND what direction you are going. At first, I cursed this design, often trying to attack an enemy but instead dashing towards deadly spikes... But going into "Novice", I learned to appreciate its elegance -- once you get used to the controls, you barely move your fingers around, and the game gets into a nice flow of its own. I imagine that good players will be able to pull amazing sequences on Standard, thanks to this.
Also, the pixel art between levels is lovely, cute and creepy all at once. The cutscenes manage to tell the (simple) story with nearly no words.
Pity that the game seems to lock one whole chapter and some sort of true ending behind the Standard difficulty (on Novice, the last screen literally said "The End?")... but that's a reward for players more skilled than me. :D
Anyway, a fun platformer, even if quite hard. Score: 76/100.
Cool mod with good puzzles, but neighbor was glitchy and he just jumping on wall.
good
